This is a great hangout for a sunny Saturday morning with some friends. There is a cute back patio that's dog friendly, and the service is very friendly. I regret to report that I didn't have a donut, but I was impressed how good the quiche I got was. I'll definitely be back to try the donuts. The coffee was also tasty, and they topped off my cup before heading back out into the street, for which I'm thankful!

Awesome coffee shop in Mission District with equally awesome gluten free donuts. The flavors are really unique and super delicious. There's an outdoor eating area as well as space inside. Highly recommend!

So love the interesting flavor combos, and there's a lovely outdoor area out back which is a very pleasant place for a donut and a coffee. But the donuts themselves just aren't that good. They get better if they are heated up, but they can't heat them up on-site. And given the premium price, I want them to be different or special somehow. I'd recommend getting your sugar fix from the less creative but tastier donuts from the Jelly Donut just down the street.

Get there early to get the best selection. They often times in out of their best sellers.

Solid coffee and donuts. I'm not the biggest fan of their donuts, but many rave about them. The ones I've tried had way too much citrus zest for my liking.

The donuts are great. I like the casual, outdoor ordering method, it means i dont have to my bike up for a 3min transaction. My concern is that the donuts could be a bit less expensive considering the neighborhood they're in, instead of playing host to gentrification. I appreciate the GF options, and understand that can be a bit more to produce. I would like to see some pricing that would allow the lower income members of the community to eat here though. Consider someone on min wage: grabbing a donut & coffee here consistently would be impossible.

The BEST donuts in San Francisco! Especially love that they always have multiple wheat free options and daily vegan donuts as well. The patio is dog friendly and the perfect place for breakfast---plus there are a bunch of outlets under the railing if you want to work on a laptop.

Three words: Bacon Maple Apple. That's right! Your dream come true, bacon - maple and apple in one donut. Throw it down with a hot chocolate or whatever caffeinated drink you like and its a wrap. Quick, easy, and affordable. Take a seat and watch them make their donuts, order some takeout, or just chill. Great place!

These are unequivocally the finest donuts I’ve ever had. I no longer live here but make a point to visit when I’m in town. Along with 9th Ave Arizmendi, Dynamo is a superlative in baked goods.

Bacon maple. I know I'm not the only one to say it, but it needs to be said. Come here, eat it. SO GOOD.I'm no donut expert or someone who will travel long distances for them, but I appreciate ones that are tasty in more complex ways than just being super sweet. That's why I appreciated the donuts I tried at Dynamo. So tasty and complex and just wow. There is a small seating area inside for those times when you want to get out of the cold, but you have to order at the walk-up window. It's a pretty basic space, but cozy and nice. And bathrooms. Great experience and donuts, would come again.

Maple glazed bacon apple donut.... it was the donut I dreamed of as a kid. One of the best donuts I’ve had in a long time. Staff was friendly and you are able to sit and eat your donut while you watch them make the donuts, it’s a cool experience. They also had a cool little kids reading book in the corner and outdoor seating as well. Fun fact.. they just celebrated their 10th year today... woot woot!

Although it is a tad bit pricey, I do believe the cost of the donut and coffee is justified. It’s a great place to stop and relax. I can see it being a great way to meet up with friends and catch up, or even take someone on a date to.

Some of the best and most creative donuts in town, along with top-notch coffee and tea. Only order one donut or you may regret overdoing it. A true gem of the Mission district.

These gourmet donuts are yummy! Such interesting and exotic flavors - Strawberry Earl Grey and Kaffir Lime Coconut to name a couple. The place is cozy and cute with indoor and outdoor seating. The only complaint is that they have limited hours and during the holidays, they don't have set closing hours so you just go there and find out they are closed. Otherwise, worth checking out!

Hands down the only donut shop which sells donuts worth the calories. Just about any donut you select will be awesome .The shop is clean, bright and has very friendly staff which seemly enjoy donuts and coffee as well. Cozy and comfy and full of coffee and pastry aroma

I love this coffee shop with a lovely little backyard. I wish they sold pastries other than donuts, but it's right there in the name, so I really shouldn't complain. Donuts and Coffee are what you get. They are both good.

We went in the afternoon so the donuts weren't oven fresh but the flavors were pretty good, and the atmosphere is amazing.

You got to come and try their crafty made doughnuts! Friendly staff and excellent service. I will be back. So happy I ran into this place for breakfast before leaving San Fransisco. I went with the Maple Glazed Bacon Apple.

Very simple but delicious formula of a no-frills (but delicious, and near perfect in taste and texture) donut base, with amazingly delicious and inventive glazes and toppings (passion fruit and milk chocolate being my personal face), along with I think very good coffee.

Who puts BACON on a donut??? Dynamo does and it keeps me coming back for more, and more, and more.... and more. I have never had a better donut or a bad bite. Sometimes these little devils are hard to let go of. After spending a pretty penny ($2-3 each) for a box for the office it makes you second guess your upbringing when it comes to manners and sharing. Grab one for yourself and try other flavors for everyone else... I'm sure they'll let you have a bite. Just one.

This place has good, fresh chewy fluffy donuts that are not really greasy. Most have a pretty sweet glaze or frosting but it's not that bad. The pricing is around $3 per donut. There's some indoor seating that overlooks the kitchen/prep area. As mentioned in some other reviews, this joint does have some lacking customer service qualities. The cashier had no personality nor really gave any positive gesture, and they are more concerned chatting to other co-workers. I would say it's not a welcoming place, but if that doesn't matter, then buy away.

Hands down the best donuts in the Bay, fantastic ever-changing flavors. The creativity is awesome, and the texture is fantastic. And a beautiful backyard when the sun is shining.

Maple bacon donuts was really the best. I always visit dynamo every week for just for those. Their staffs were super nice and they never fail to impress me.

Yummy donuts. The texture of their dough is light and cakey - my kind of donuts! They have monthly special flavors as well. The lemon and pistachio one from May is so good. My personal favorite is the passion fruit one. They also make granola, and doggy donuts for your furiends!

Nice quiet space to eat a donut, drink coffee or tea, and do your own work. There's also a nice patio in the back.Photo of Santa's cookie donut- it was quite good! Not too sweet for my sweet tooth.

I clicked my heels three times and ended up at my own personal slice of heaven in San Francisco - Dynamo Donut! From the moment that you step in, you are embraced by the aromas of freshly fried donuts and delicious craft coffee. The options in terms of donuts are extensive and each unique in their own way. Highly recommend the maple bacon donut - it literally melts in your mouth and the crunch and saltiness of the bacon makes it truly dynamic. If you're looking to get a bit of fresh air, their garden in the back of the shop provides a relaxing setting for enjoying their delicious donuts. The garden is absolutely beautiful and well-kept. There are also vegan and wheat-free options too.

Donut comes in all flavors, size, and color. For Dynamo, they don't disappoint. They operate out of a side of building, but the entrance to inside revealed seating area. Rain or shine they're there. Workers are helpful and quick to get you going without any hold up. It's a legit donut place that has a rotating weekly/daily menu. For those that came on bike, there's bike parking right out front.

Favorite coffee shop in all of SF. Also just saw them giving out the leftover donuts to homeless people, which is nice.
